MET ID has rebranded project management specialists DesignPM – comprising a new brand positioning and visual identity – in an attempt to renew its focus.
DesignPM manages the procurement, design and delivery of museum, heritage and cultural projects. A trusted partner of client and creative teams, they bridge the management gap between design and construction.
Their experienced team pride themselves on working with large-scale, complex projects, and being instrumental in bringing them into the world. That pride is at the core of the new brand positioning. The visual identity captures how they work with clients as the catalyst to make projects happen. Their approach is epitomised by the new logo: the contrast of its stable central square surrounded by dynamic waves.
The square reflects the unifying vision at the heart of a project and DesignPM’s role in championing that vision as a constant partner throughout a project’s journey. The waves represent the ever-changing circumstances, information flow and stakeholder needs that DesignPM channels into successful project delivery.
There are four iterations of the logo, each capturing the energy of projects in progress and DesignPM as an anchoring centre. “Working closely with the DesignPM team, the goal was to craft a logo that demonstrates the stability and guidance DesignPM bring to delivering projects worldwide” MET ID Head of Creative Darren Lewis says. “The identity brings to life three new core values that were identified within the company; DesignPM being visionary, catalysts, and accomplished in delivering international work to a world-class standard.”
