Utilising our extensive working knowledge of the Philips brand approach and building on our close working relationship with Philips Design & Global Events teams, MET Live’s aim for IFA 2019 was to create an experience that built on the previous successes at IFA, whilst evolving the experience.
At 6000sqm, the Philips experience was split into two very distinct areas – the Consumer hall and the Dealer hall.
The Consumer hall welcomed general public and business visitors into the “Philips home” immersive experience, with actor driven stories woven throughout the experience, creating product awareness through a fun and engaging narrative.
The Dealer hall was designed as a space to deliver key-note speeches, deep dive areas, meeting rooms and product showcases. Accessible mainly to media and retailer visitors, the hall space was more formal but still full of Philips character throughout.
The show was incredibly successful, seeing a 30% increase in footfall, linger time & on-site purchases. It was equally well received by the industry, picking up a number of awards from the likes of ICE (Most Disruptive Event) and Eventex (Best Exhibition Experience).
